Sndconfig
Sndconfig is Red Hat's sound card configuration utility. It
can be run from the command line. Log in as root and type "sndconfig" on older systems and "system-config-soundcard" on newer systems.
This utility will attempt to detect your Plug and Play sound
card. It will then load the appropriate module for that
card, and play a test sound.
