Incorrect Sender Information In Outlook
If you are sending e-mail and it shows the wrong Sender address and/or e-mail address check the following.

MS Outlook
In Outlook, go under the "Tools" menu to "Accounts". Select the account his you are using.

Double check what name is listed under "Name:" and e-mail address is listed under "Account:" This should be the e-mail and name you want to send e-mail as. Such as "Joseph X. Smith" and "jsmith@yourdomain.com".


If this information is correct, but your outgoing e-mail still has incorrect information, you may have multiple e-mail accounts configured.

With multiple accounts under Outlook, check to see which account is identity is being used when creating a new e-mail. When you create a "New" message, it should show your desired account in the "From:" drop box.
